The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it truly is alarmed concerning the significant range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a higher range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie sassa status check and there's no fully functional office committed to service the area every day. The company position made for intervention experiences a significant inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to enable the servicing of all consumers and maximize use of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
